Our client is a christian media company and they are looking to engage the services of a radio presenter.

Requirements:

• Have a passion for music and for radio
• Have knowledge of the Christian Contemporary Music scene
• At least three years’ experience as a Radio Presenter
• Be 35 years old and above
• A Diploma or Degree or an equivalent in Mass Communication or a related discipline
• Be a born again Christian and have a passion for Christ
• Have skills in production work
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to draw information from people
• Be able to work calmly effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Generate original ideas, and think creatively about how to communicate them to our audience
• Operate a variety of recording equipment as well as radio studios
• Be able to present while operating studio controls and co-ordinating a range of simultaneous technical activities
• Communicate knowledgeably and engagingly with the audience
• Have knowledge of the radio market, different station and programme styles and audience demographics

The salary range is between Kshs. 35,000-50,000 gross.
